We love to help support causes that represent The Rio’s culture and mission by engaging with local nonprofit organizations and events in the community. We try to align ourselves with activities that involve education, kids, healthy outdoor lifestyles, eco-friendly ideas, and the arts… just to name a few.
We are proud to support the following organizations in and around the Steamboat Springs community:
- Sunshine Kids Foundation – Sunshine Kids helps children with cancer live life, have fun and celebrate life through exciting, positive group activities.
- Tour de Steamboat – An annual non-competitive road ride held in Steamboat Springs, the Tour de Steamboat benefits Sunshine Kids Foundation.
- Partners in Routt County (PRC) – To encourage youth to pursue their dreams, PRC partners local adult volunteers with youth through one-on-one mentoring.
- Triple Crown Sports – Organizers of grassroots sports tournaments, Triple Crown Sports hosts local soccer, baseball, and softball tournaments in Steamboat Springs.
- Steamboat Soccer – Steamboat Soccer provides recreational and competitive soccer opportunities for the youth of Steamboat Springs.
- Healthcare Foundation for Yampa Valley – Donations to the Healthcare Foundation for Yampa Valley helps Yampa Valley Medical Center provide programs and services to the community.
